Human Hair Grades

Hair Grading Terminology

Virgin Remy Hair: Virgin hair is unprocessed human hair, which is collected from a single donor (the donor could be Indian, Russian, Brazilian, etc). Therefore all the cuticules are preserved and directional. The virgin remy hair  that has not been altered by dyes, perms, bleaches, or harsh washes, are usually used to make the highest quality of hair extensions.

Remy Hair: Remy hair is unprocessed human hair, which is collected from multiple donors. The remy hair are usually dyed to make different colours of hair extensions. All of the hair cuticules are preserved and directional.

Human Hair:  Human hair is usually collected from multiple donors. All the hair cuticules have been striped off to maximize the softness and silkness. Due to this reason, human hair do not last as long as virgin remy hair and remy human hair.
